Multiple Sclerosis Questions and Answers

There is always the question of what to do if one suspects he or she has multiple sclerosis. Another question is when are some of the various symptoms that one experiences signs of MS, and not just some other illness.

It’s needless to say, that symptoms like fatigue, depression, stress, bowel dysfunction and muscle weakness can be attributed to a crazy lifestyle, lack of proper sleep, un-balanced diet and stress. However, when these symptoms last more than usual, then a person should seek medical advice.

It is also important to state that one of the best ways to diagnose MS is through the use of an MRI, as it shows multiple sclerosis brain specific lesions. This information correlated with one’s medical history and symptoms, can lead to a proper MS diagnosis.

Also, it should be pointed out that if one suspects MS for whatever reason, that person should be consulted by a doctor who’s knowledgeable about the disease, as it is not uncommon for MS to be diagnosed as another disease by doctors who aren’t familiar with it.
