Multiple Sclerosis Questions and Answers

Unfortunately, until now, no cure has been found for Multiple Sclerosis, and the number of medicines and treatments that are available for the moment can only soothe some of the symptoms.

There are a few treatments that proved to be quite effective, but for the moment none of them was approved by the FDA.

It’s needless to say that there is always a turn toward naturist medicine, but, even so, until today there hasn’t been any herb or combination of herbs that was proven to heal multiple sclerosis.

There are however, some herbs that have proven to be quite effective in alleviating some of the symptoms that some patients experience. Jatamansi, Blue Vervain, Nerve Root, PassieonFlower and Valerian Root have shown good results. It is said that decreasing the amount of dairy products, red meats and refined starches in one’s diet, while increasing these herbs, will have good results.

Nevertheless, one should always consult a healthcare specialist or doctor before taking these herbs. Even if their effect is known to do good, there might be interactions with one’s current treatment scheme, which can only cause more damage to the person.
