This topic has already been discussed in Inheritability article. To resume, there is a 2% chance that a child who has one parent with Multiple Sclerosis will inherit the same disease. Overall, the child of a parent with MS has a 30 times greater risk to develop MS.  No matter the case, couples need to be aware that this percentage is quite small.
